My Life

By Campbell Turner, Correspondent

Meek and always trying to hide

Back then, my voice was stuck inside

While flying ever touched the sky

Back then, a chance of failure meant I wouldn’t try

Always watching, waiting for days to go by

Back then, I meandered looking for the day I’d die

Now everyday I feel alive
