Fraternity and Sorority Life Update Fall 2020

Read Time:2 Minutes

Looking to get involved on campus? Look no further than the nine different chapters that make up Embry-Riddle’s fraternity and sorority community. Fraternity and sorority involvement can be one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences during your college career. The core values of scholarship, friendship, leadership, service, and accountability are the foundation for each of our chapter’s activities. While those activities may look different than usual this year, the relationships and experiences will be just as valuable.

If you are interested in joining a fraternity you can participate in the informal recruitment process which starts on Sept. 7. This process allows potential new members (PNMs) to meet all six fraternities at their own pace. Each chapter hosts a variety of events that you can attend to get to know the brothers. Be sure to look for schedules of each chapter’s events on Eagle Life!

If you are interested in joining a sorority you can participate in formal recruitment process from Sept. 1-5. During this time, you’ll have a chance to interact with all three sororities and mutually decide if a chapter is a great fit for you. If you do not want to go through formal recruitment, you can participate in continuous open bidding (COB) after the formal recruitment process is over. However, there is no guarantee that each chapter will be able to participate in COB, so we encourage you to check out formal recruitment! To register for fraternity or sorority recruitment, sign in to Eagle Life and follow the link on the main page. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Kelsey Tempas at [] or 928-777-3434.
