Greetings Eagles, we are excited for another incredible OctoberWest week! OctoberWest is ERAU’s homecoming and we hope that you enjoy our series of events throughout the week leading up to the iconic Wings Out West Airshow. This year’s events are things you don’t want to miss!

Join us at the Student Union Courtyard for our traditional build-a-pillow event. We hope you crush it on Oct. 3 at this year’s fall Career Fair, but rest up. The following day, our best semester event, Friday Fair, starts at 5:00 p.m. on the Lower Fields. This week is a time to develop your sense of pride for being an Embry-Riddle student. We hope that when you are watching our dazzling firework display, listening to our band, or eating food from delicious local food trucks, you feel that pride. Don’t forget to search for some toy planes (formally paratroopers) around campus… worth prizes ranging from $10 to $300. See you there!

Wednesday, Oct. 2 is our traditional build a pillow event. This event will take place on the Quad starting at 12:00 p.m. Choose a bright ERAU blue pillow, grab some stuffing, and eat some cotton candy! Relax with your friends listening to music or playing some lawn games such as corn hole and ring toss. There will be an opportunity to win one of our exclusive toy planes that gets you a prize at Friday Fair! Limited pillows available so get there early!

Friday, Oct. 4 is Friday Fair and let’s just say – if you know, you know. This highly anticipated event is full of free ERAU crew necks, OctoberWest hats, and meal tickets for food trucks (Free for the first 600 students). Stealing Oceans will be playing live music while students can enjoy racing through blow up obstacle courses or scaling the rock wall. Our food trucks will provide the best local food in Prescott complete with options for Wings, Tacos, and BBQ. Worried about getting cold? Enjoy our complimentary Hot Chocolate Bar. Are you 21? Then enjoy two free drinks in the OctoberWest Beer Garden. By 8:00 p.m. the dazzling firework display will light up the sky to conclude our week of events. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this!
