This is Riddle Dutch Menu, RDM for short,, an Instagram page run by Riddle students who make custom Dutch Bros drinks. Drop a follow on Instagram @riddledutchmenu. Today you read upon the first drink that I made on my own during the initiation into Riddle Dutch Menu: This drink is called Halloweenie! With the spooky season drawing close, it was about time we made a drink that is so cold that it would send shivers down your spine, like some spooky scary skeletons. Perfectly made with very subtle flavors for those of you who are into the fall flavors of coffee or chai tea, this is the drink for you.

The best part is that it’s made with very simple ingredients. You first have the traditional Fall ingredient of Pumpkin, add a little dark chocolate for a kick of sweetness, and lastly cinnamon. Now hold on a second, Pumpkin and Cinnamon? Sounds like pie ingredients, doesn’t it? Well, you’re right! I wanted to make a Dutch drink that will truly to speak to people in a way that it shouts out “It’s fall! Time for Pumpkin Spice Lattes and for leaves that actually look decent!”. It seems like an overstatement, but you get the deal. , The smell is absolutely divine when ordered as a hot chocolate, hot chai tea, or even hot coffee! With a large freshman class this fall, lots of students around campus are holding Scholar’s Cafe Starbucks cups. This drink is best suited for those who are starting to be converted to the Dutch Mafia as well as those looking to get some cheaper drinks at a higher quality.

My rating for this drink is a straight up 9.5/10. Sadly, it is not the perfect drink because of the aesthetic of the drink itself: it looks like when you mix your paint colors into one cup of water and it turns into a weird color. I am personally not a coffee drinker and when I first got the drink it looked like a cup of coffee, even though it had the telltale chai tea hue on it.Having this drink brings me back to the good times of stargazing in a hidden place that only a few people know about.. Cherish the good ol’ days because you never know when you need a happy memory to call upon.
